Elevating the perspective to brighter possibilities, our design team rose to the occasion and approached the complex structural challenges of a 1900s era rubber factory. The design solution gave each partner a panoramic view, and all who spend time in the space benefit from an abundance of natural light. Adding a raised floor provided a visual and psychological lift, as well as a cost-saving technical solution. All ductwork, power, data and phone lines were placed below the floor surface, thus freeing up the ceiling for a new, modern expansiveness with an industrial aesthetic. Exposing the curved columns lent modern lines, transforming the firm’s corporate image to one of contemporary relevance, efficiency and excellence.
